Timber frame building systems use wood framing with metal exterior skinning.  This means that it is easier and more cost-effective to add attractive design features (such as overhangs, steeper roof pitch, porches, etc.). These timber frame buildings don’t require interior supporting walls, so the wide-open space inside can be configured to your needs; interior build out is simple too. Beams can be left exposed for a more rustic look.
