K-Con is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team!

General Responsibilities:

  • Professionally represent K-Con.
  • Participate in owner’s meetings and regular staff meetings.
  • Read and interpret architectural, civil, and engineering plans and specifications.
  • Maintain Certification in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Identify and manage Subcontractors, material, and equipment requirements.
  • Effectively utilize, communicate, update, and manage project schedule.
  • Promote and enforce Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Hold weekly Safety Meetings.
  • Implement and monitor site-specific Safety Plan (Accident Prevention, Environmental Plan, CQC Plan, etc.).
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to ensure the project is on schedule without complications.

Requirements:

  • Computer skills using MS Office and Outlook.
  • Have a firm grasp of fundamental principles and concepts in the construction profession.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED or greater

Experience:

  • Experience as a lead superintendent on projects ranging from $1 Million – $10+ Million.

License/Certifications:

  • Valid Drivers License
  • CPR Certification – K-Con will provide training
  • First Aid Certification – K-Con will provide training
  • OSHA 30 Certification – K-Con will provide training

K-Con is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our team! This is a full-time traveling position; location dependent on project assignment and may not be reflected in job posting. *

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Incredible, upfront, honest, and open communication with our clients, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and teammates
  • A sense of urgency in everything you do
  • Provide guidance and direction for everyone involved in the project
  • Monitor and issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
  • Help select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate efforts across your entire project between architects, designers, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and your teammates
  • Make absolutely certain that your project is safe for everyone – it’s a must
  • Direct and oversee projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with building regulations
  • Predict the resources you’ll need to complete the project efficiently and professionally
  • Manage the project schedule – everyone is counting on you to get it done when you said it would be done
  • Manage costs – profit isn’t everything but it is the reason why we are in business and take the risks
  • Think ahead, anticipate, and always look for a better way
  • Coach, cheer, support, celebrate, educate, learn, and share everything on your project
